Consigning
We are currently accepting gently used educational materials for Pre-k through 12th grade, including books, media, manipulatives, science supplies, educational games, and classic readers. All materials must be CURRENT, CLEAN, and COMPLETE. Items will be declined that are older editions, dusty/dirty, have missing parts or pages, or have some workbook pages that are already filled in (although you are welcome to bless other homeschool families by placing these items in the "free" boxes outside the store).
Please check-in with a staff member when you arrive. While you wait, we will sort your items to determine if they will sell, and confirm your consignor number and contact information. We will stamp and price your items for you. We recommend materials are priced for no more than 2/3rds of the new retail price, if they are in "like new" or "very good" condition. Pricing will be lower depending on wear.
Consignors will receive:
- 50% on items up to $39.00
- 60% on items $39.01-$99.00
- 70% on items $99.01and up
Payouts are mailed quarterly if you are owed $30 or more, or you can opt to keep this money on your account for in-store purchases. Please keep the store updated with your current address, email, and phone number, so that we can make sure you get your money!
HSGP will retain consigned items for 12 months. We reserve the right to lower prices in the following increments, as necessary for shelf space:
- After 6 months, the price may be reduced by 25%.
- After 9 months, the price may be reduced by 50%.
- After 12 months items become property of the store if not re-consigned or picked up by the consignee. Items will be marked down 70%.
